This wiki is a resource for my students at Cal State Fullerton and Chapman University. It's also designed for general visitors: the Archive Menu links to previous course syllabi, study guides, questions, blogs, and lecture audio as well as to my Dossier and Victorian Archive. To access documents, mouse-over the "arrow" links and left-click on the appropriate document.
Contact Instructor: use the "Contact Instructor" link in the appropriate course menu. In emails, please include an appropriate subject line such as "E240 Journal 2, Alma Castillo." If you're an enrolled student in one of my courses, don't use the email link in the general Archive menu.
Access "Syllabus" and "Policies" to view the syllabus and policies pages. Essential information.
Access "Questions" to view links to the study questions pages for each author or text on the syllabus. For some courses, there's only one central set of questions to adapt to all assigned readings, but for most courses, I offer dedicated question sets for each author or work.
Access "Presentations" to view the student presentation schedule (if any). Presentations, if the course includes them, will be based on one or more journal set questions, which I'll specify for each presenter when I post the completed schedule.
Access "Journals" to view journal instructions and the links to the questions on which entries will be based.
Access "Term Paper" and "Final Prep" to view the instructions for those requirements.
Access "Course Blogs" to visit the instructor's blogs, which are similar to (but not identical to) lecture notes. (Optional)
Access "Audio MP3" to listen to mp3 audio of class sessions. Uses standard media player plugin. (Optional)
Access "Guides" to view guides on literary periods, writing, etc. (Optional)
Access "Links" to browse offsite resources. (Optional)
