English 307 is an advanced writing course for English majors. It covers the art of writing well and engaging productively and smoothly with secondary sources along with discussion of various aspects of the discipline of English studies.
Authors: the writing component includes works by co-authors Gerald Graff and Kathy Birkenstein as well as Thomas Kane, while the literature portion of the course includes Jane Austen, Shakespeare, and several British Romantic poets.
